10. Cosimo DiBrizzi Memorial Scholarship (Deadline : Midnight on March 01, 2020)

Scholarship : $1,500

Rules & Eligibility

  • This scholarship provides $1500 to $3000 annually to the students who meet their eligibility criteria and is nonrenewable.
  • A total of two awards are offered annually by this scholarship
  • This scholarship is provided by the Cosimo DiBrizzi family in the honor of his memory.
  • This scholarship is available to any resident of the Mid-Hudson Valley.
  • Students who are pursuing a career at the Culinary Institute of America are also eligible.
  • An applicant must be accepted or enrolled at the CIA and planning to attend within the next six months.
  • If a student is a current year student, then they must have to reside in Hudson Valley for at least 5 years.

Application Steps

  • A student has to complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be able to apply or receive these financial aids. FAFSA is what determines the position of a student to pay for their education.
  • Two letters of recommendation must be submitted by the student and a copy of the transcript with a copy of SAR and EFC information needs to be submitted.
  • To take part in the scholarship program, a student needs to submit an essay with 500 words on the topic assigned to them.
