8. Gwyneth Paltrow
The Oscar winning actress has been open with her fear and battle with Pneumonia across numerous publications. Thus stems from her father, and husband of actress Blythe Danner, dying from complications of oral cancer and pneumonia. Paltrow has said in interviews that she now fears the disease every time she contracts even the common cold. In 2009 she did indeed get Pneumonia and is quoted as saying “When I fell ill with pneumonia last year the fear of dying sort of swept over me to the degree that I lost my sight for a second and I nearly collapsed.
