7. Nicole Kidman
Kidman grew up in Sydney and attended Lane Cove Public School and North Sydney Girls’ High School. She was enrolled in ballet at three and showed her natural talent for acting in her primary and high school years. The actress dropped out of school in Australia when she was 16 to pursue acting full time. Unfortunately, it was her mother’s cancer diagnosis that prompted Kidman to drop out of school and find work as a massage therapist in order to support her struggling family. Luckily, she eventually resumed her studies, soon taking on theater and launching a wildly successful career.
