8. Travel Is Education Scholarship (Deadline : Midnight on January 31, 2020)
Scholarship : $1,000
Rules & Eligibility
- Each student may submit only one entry.
- The contest is for grades 6-12 traveling on an ACIS tour from October 15, 2019, through October 14, 2020. Attach a completed copy of the Sponsor Application Form & the Scholarship Entry Form.
- Writing pieces must be one-page typed. Both prose (creative & non-fiction) & poetry are acceptable.
- Photos should reflect a student’s own experience & imagination. include title, location, how the photo relates to the theme.
- Paintings, drawings, collages or printed digital designs are accepted. Artwork may be no larger than 20 inches in any direction. No slides or electronic files will be accepted.

7. The College Monk Short Essay Scholarship (Deadline : Midnight on January 31, 2020)
Scholarship : $1,500
Rules & Eligibility
- The scholarship is open to all students currently pursuing or looking to pursue a college education in the next 12 months in the United States.
- Must be a legal citizen of the U.S or an International student with a valid student visa.
- Should be enrolled or attending an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Must submit an
original essay that addresses the following.
- In not less than 100 words, tell us about yourself & why you are applying for this scholarship.
- Any past achievements of state, national or international fame should be mentioned.
